Kris McNichol is proud to be the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Ladysmith–Oceanside. After more than 30 years of living, working, raising a family and building businesses on Vancouver Island, Kris is ready to bring his experience and practical approach to Victoria and be a strong voice for the people and communities he calls home.
About Kris McNichol
MEET KRIS
I’m a husband, father, proud grandfather, business owner, and longtime Vancouver Island resident. My wife, Sheryl, and I have called the Parksville and Nanoose Bay area home for more than 30 years, raising our three daughters here and building our lives in the community.
Giving back has always been important to me. I spent years coaching the Rage softball team and served as President of the Oceanside Minor Softball Association, helping support opportunities for young athletes in our community. I also served as President of the Sproat Lake Water Sports Association and volunteered as a firefighter.
These communities have given my family and me so much over the years. I believe strongly in contributing, getting involved, and doing my part to make Vancouver Island an even better place for the families and generations that come after us.
MY EXPERIENCE
As a business owner who has built and operated multiple companies over the past 25 years, I take pride in creating jobs and employing local people. I believe government should focus on real problems, spend taxpayers’ money responsibly, and deliver the services people depend on.
I am deeply concerned about the challenges facing families and communities across Ladysmith–Oceanside. The rising cost of living and housing, difficulty accessing healthcare, growing concerns around public safety, homelessness and addiction, and the increasing pressures on local businesses are affecting people throughout our riding.
I believe our communities deserve better results and a strong voice in Victoria. I am running to bring practical, accountable leadership to government and to stand up for the people who live, work, raise their families and retire here.
A VOICE FOR LADYSMITH/OCEANSIDE
Ladysmith–Oceanside is an incredible place to live, work, raise a family, and retire but too many people are finding it harder to get ahead and harder to access the services they depend on.
Families are struggling with the rising cost of housing, groceries, taxes, and everyday life. Too many people are waiting for a family doctor. Businesses are facing increasing costs and red tape. Our communities are dealing with homelessness, addiction, public safety concerns, and infrastructure that has not kept pace with growth.
British Columbians deserve a government that is accountable for how it spends their money and focused on delivering results.
I’m running to represent Ladysmith–Oceanside and to make sure our communities have a strong voice in Victoria. I will listen, work hard, ask the difficult questions, and stand up for the people who call this riding home.
